Who we are

NervIQ.ai is operated by Amanda Battley, an individual. Amanda Battley is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, which means she decides why and how that data is used and is responsible for protecting it. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Amanda Battley as the operator of NervIQ.ai.

NervIQ.ai ("NervIQ") provides a nervous-system and cognitive performance check-in service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you control it.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and, optionally, your name.
• Check-in data: the self-reported ratings you submit in the daily check-in and the results of the reaction, memory and focus tests.
• Derived data: your NervIQ Score, pillar scores and score history.
• Optional feeling notes: any context you choose to add about sleep, stress, workload, training or how you feel. These notes are private to your account.
• AI insight data: a saved, non-medical wellness pattern reflection generated only when you request it and only after enough noted check-ins exist.
• Billing data: subscription status and identifiers from our payment processor. We never receive or store your card details.
• Technical data: error reports and basic usage events used to keep the app working.

How we use it

• To calculate and show your NervIQ Score and history.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To manage your subscription and trial.
• To diagnose faults and improve reliability.
• When you ask us to, to process a limited set of your recent notes, ratings and scores with our AI service and identify recurring general-wellness patterns. AI insights are not medical advice and are not used to calculate your NervIQ Score.

We do not sell your data and we do not use your check-in results for advertising or share them with advertisers.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security. Access rules are enforced per user account: your check-ins, cognitive results and scores can only be read or modified by your own authenticated session.

Legal basis

• Performance of our contract with you: running your account, scores and subscription.
• Legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, reliable and free of fraud.
• Consent: any optional marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legal obligation: tax, accounting and lawful requests.

Who we share it with

• Our hosting and database provider, for authentication and data storage.
• Lovable AI and its model provider, only when you request a pattern insight, to process the bounded recent check-in data needed to create it. Account identifiers are excluded from the AI prompt.
• Paddle, our merchant of record, for the sale of Premium, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal and accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities, where we are required to by law.

Data may be processed outside the UK and EEA by these providers. Where it is, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted per user account by row-level security, and administrative access is limited to what is needed to operate the service.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage only — to keep you signed in and to remember whether you have completed today's session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, check-ins (including feeling notes), cognitive results, scores and saved AI insights are permanently deleted. Billing records may be retained by our payment processor where required by law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). We respond within one month.

• Access and correct your profile from the Profile screen.
• Delete your account and all associated results at any time from Profile → Delete account. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us.
